As evident from the career goals in her 8th grade yearbook, Isabella Garcia’s wanted to be a director since she was 13. She didn’t get the courage to direct until she turned 30.

Her first short film In Her You’ll Find Sanctuary will premiere at The Future of Film is Female: Shorts Program in Brooklyn.

She is currently the Showrunner’s Assistant to Lauren LeFranc at Acid and Tender Productions.

She was previously the Development Coordinator at Lilly Wachowski's Anarchists United.

She received her B.S. from San Diego State University and her Screenwriting MFA from UCLA - where she was awarded the Carl Davis LGBTQ fellowship, the Alexandra Lederer scholarship, and was a finalist in UCLA’s Screenwriting Showcase.
